‘Heartbeast’ Soundtrack Album Released

Music Box Publishing has released a soundtrack album for the French/Finnish dramatic thriller Heartbeast (Pulse). The album features the film’s original score composed by JB Dunckel (Summer of 85, K.O., The Summer of Sangaile, Capital in the Twenty-First Century) of AIR. Also included are songs performed by lead acturess Elsi Sloan, as well as Chilla, Mercedes Bentso, Rim Laurens & others. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out audio samples. Heartbeast is written and directed by Aino Suni and also stars Carmen Kassovitz, Camille, Lucille Guillaume and Adel Bencherif. The movie follows a 17-year-old aspiring rapper who is forced to leave her home country of Finland and move to the South of France, where she meets a charismatic ballet dancer who leads a double life full of boys and drugs. The thriller was released in Finland last fall and will open in French theaters on February 22.
