Dickon Hinchliffe (The Lost Daughter, Leave No Trace, Winter’s Bone, Father Stu, Locke, Out of the Furnace, Last Chance Harvey) has recently scored the upcoming German comedy drama When Will It Be Again Like It Never Was Before (Wann wird es endlich wieder so, wie es nie war). The film is directed by Sonja Heiss (Hotel Very Welcome) and stars Arsseni Bultmann, Laura Tonke, Pola Geiger, Devid Striesow and Casper von Bülow. The movie is based on the bestselling novel of the same name by Joachim Meyerhoff and tells the story of a childhood and youth spent on the grounds of a psychiatric clinic.Janine Jackowski, Jonas Dornbach & Maren Ade (Spencer, Toni Erdmann) are producing the project for Komplizen Film. When Will It Be Again Like It Never Was Before will be released in German theaters on February 23. No word yet on a domestic distribution deal.
