Hollywood Records has released a soundtrack album for the FX original documentary Spermworld. The album features the film’s original music composed by Ari Balouzian (Some Kind of Heaven, They Call Us Monsters, The Giant). Also included is the composer’s cover’s of The The’s This Is the Day (listen to the full track after the jump). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. Also listen to the first score track (Giving Back) below. Spermworld is directed by Lance Oppenheim and inspired by the New York Times article The Sperm Kings Have a Problem: Too Much Demand by Nellie Bowles and centers on the unregulated online marketplace for sperm as donors connect with hopeful parents. The New York Times and Edgeline Films production is premiering tonight on FX and will also be available to stream on Hulu tomorrow.
