‘Girl You Know It’s True’ Score Album Released

Sony Music Germany has released a score album for the German biographical drama Girl You Know It’s True. The album features the film’s original score composed by Segun Akinola (Doctor Who, Stephen, Murder Is Easy, The Last Tree, 9/11: Inside the President’s War Room). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. The label has previously released a separate album featuring the songs from the movie last month. Girl You Know It’s True is written and directed by Simon Verhoeven and stars Tijan Njie, Elan Ben Ali, Bella Dayne, Matthias Schweighöfer, Graham Rogers, Tijan Marei and Ashley Dowds. The movie chronicles the meteoric rise of the Grammy-winning German/French R&B duo who took the world by storm in the late 1980s before it all came crashing down when it was exposed that they lip-synched their songs. The biopic was released last week in German theaters
