Expanded ‘The Rock’ Soundtrack Album Announced

Intrada Records has announced a new soundtrack album for the 1996 action thriller The Rock directed by Michael Bay and starring Sean Connery, Nicolas Cage, Ed Harris, William Forsythe, Claire Forlani and Michael Biehn. The album features the complete original score from the Hollywood Pictures production composed and produced by Nick Glennie-Smith (The Man in the Iron Mask, We Were Soldiers, Secretariat), Hans Zimmer (The Dark Knight, The Lion King, Dune, Gladiator) & Harry Gregson-Williams (Shrek, The Chronicles of Narnia, The Martian), including previously unreleased music, as well as alternate tracks and demos. The 2-CD set is now available to order on the label’s official website, where you can also check out audio samples and find out more about the release. The Rock is now available on VOD, Blu-ray and DVD (as part of the Criterion Collection).
