‘This Stolen Country of Mine’ Soundtrack Released

Noton has released a soundtrack album for the documentary This Stolen Country of Mine. The album features the film’s original music composed by German electronic music artist Alva Noto (aka Carsten Nicolai) (The Revenant). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on all major digital music services, as well as on CD and vinyl. Visit Amazon to purchase the album in all formats. This Stolen Country of Mine is directed by Marc Wiese and explores the question of a state’s sovereignty in the face of foreign powers. The movie portrays Ecuadorian resistance fighters and journalists who oppose the sell-off of a part of the country’s resources to Chinese investors. The documentary premiered at various film festivals over the last year and will debut in the U.S. on August 8 on OVID.tv.
