Mockup Records will release the first-ever commercial soundtrack album for the British drama Pu-239 (aka The Half Life of Timofey Berezin) written and directed by Scott Z. Burns and starring Paddy Considine, Oscar Isaac, Radha Mitchell, Mélanie Thierry, Steven Berkoff, Nikolaj Lie Kaas and Jason Flemyng. The album features the film’s original music composed by Emmy Award nominee Abel Korzeniowski (Penny Dreadful, A Single Man, Nocturnal Animals, Till, W.E., Emily, Romeo & Juliet). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, June 30. Check back on this page for the streaming/download link. Pu-239 tells the story of a Russian nuclear-plant worker as he is facing certain death from radiation exposure steals plutonium to sell in order to provide for his family. The drama, which premiered at the 2006 Toronto International Film Festival and made its U.S. debut in 2008 on HBO, is now available to stream on Max and to purchase on VOD and DVD.
