Volker Bertelmann (aka Hauschka) (Lion, All Quiet on the Western Front, Adrift, Hotel Mumbai, The Old Guard, Patrick Melrose) is reuniting with producer/director Marc Turtletaub (Little Miss Sunshine, The Farewell) on the upcoming drama Jules. The film starring Ben Kingsley, Jane Curtin, Harriet Harris and Zoë Winters revolves around an unusual and unexpected visitor who brings together several people living in a small city in rural Western Pennsylvania. Gavin Steckler wrote the screenplay. Turtletaub is also producing the project with Debbie Liebling (Plus One, Pen15), Andy Daly (Review) and Michael B. Clark (The Miseducation of Cameron Post, Miss Stevens). Bertelmann has previously scored Turtletaub’s last directorial effort, Puzzle. Jules is expected to premiere this year.
