David Schwartz Wins Emmy Award for ‘Lucy & Desi’ Score

emmysDavid Schwartz has won his first Primetime Emmy Award in the Outstanding Music Composition for a Documentary Series or Special (Original Dramatic Score) category for his score for the Amazon documentary Lucy & Desi at today’s first night of the Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Awards. He has previously been nominated three times for his Arrested Development score and his main title theme music from Deadwood: The Movie and Wolf Lake. The composer’s music from the film has been released this past July by Amazon Content Services.

In the Outstanding Music Direction category, Adam Blackstone was the winner for The Pepsi Super Bowl LVI Halftime Show Starring Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige, Eminem, Kendrick Lamar And 50 Cent
